Coming into a new salon can be a nerve wracking experience for people. I go beyond to make my clients feel at ease and I take the time to really listen to what they are after. What I love most about my job is the transformations and not just the ones that happen on the outside. An amazing hair colour and cut can help people feel fun, brave, pretty, youthful and confident. I have a tonne of knowledge, teamed up with the passion to create and help make peoples lives just a little bit better, one head of hair at a time. Sorry for the cheese but it’s true.

Hi there I am a Premier Master Stylist and so excited to be joining the Surreal team. I have 30+ years expereience working in some of Australia & New Zealand’s prestigious & award winning salons. I am joining the team as Floor Manager & principal trainer/educator.

I have recently returned after 12 years in Australia equipped with the latest bespoke colouring & cutting techniques supported by my varied & comprehensive technical background.

My skill set is diverse from mastering short textured creative cuts to classic bobs, unmanageable & curly hair textures, colour challenges and customised colour techniques. I love solving texture challenges from chemical straightening and relaxing to fashion waves (perm)

I have been in the industry for 40 + years and have trained in all aspects of hairdressing. Recently I have refound my love of men’s cutting and styling with the increased popularity for more classical looks and barbering. Most of my career has been spent in the central city including owning my own salon. I worked for Surreal for 15 Years and feel honored to be rejoining the Surreal team and bring a wealth of knowledge, skills, and experience. Can’t wait to start this new adventure with Michelle and the Surreal team.

I have been working in the hairdressing industry for 30 years. I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Surreal team with an ongoing commitment to training and learning. For me communication is vital in the relationship between the stylist and their client, establishing what the clients want from their service. I am passionate about all aspects of hairdressing including colour work, however, my specialty is curly hair and my colleagues often refer to me as the “curl queen”. I’ve been part of the Surreal team for the past 4 years and love working with such a passionate, professional, and experienced team. I’ve loved being a stylist for over 30 years. I really enjoy learning new colour and cutting techniques so that I make sure my clients look and feel fabulous. In particular, I’m passionate about creating beautifully shaped shorter haircuts whilst using colour to enhance body and style. Consultations are important to me, so I am all ears and once we have chosen the direction for your hair I will ensure you have the know how to style your hair at home. After all – a great haircut has to continue being great after you leave the salon. Being able to listen and understand the clients needs and to know not just what they are saying but also what they would like to say. After 34 years in the industry I am highly skilled in all aspects of hairdressing and have a passion for creating a personalised individual look using colour and styling. 29 years of hairdressing has taught me that listening, listening, listening is the key to giving a client the hair that they want, and working with a great team of highly trained colourists gives me the ability to give my clients the hair they truly deserve while freeing me up to focus on the cut from sharp classic designs to more textured, contemporary designs. I love cutting curls and have many male as well as female clients. No client is too old or too young to deserve a great haircut.

Hi, I am Molly one of Surreal’s newest team members. I started my hairdressing journey in 2020 after leaving school to do something I felt a passion for. I have a love for long hair styling, waving, braiding, and colouring. One of the things I love about the hair industry is I get to meet so many amazing people who I get the opportunity to connect with and create beautiful hair.
